TONIGHT 26th anniversary of Armadale group with Ajahn Brahm plus extra monks Featured
The Armadale group has reached it's 26th anniversary - and we are having an EVENING OF GRATITUDE to celebrate. We have been blessed to have many wonderful monks from Bodhinyana monastery teach us over this time and tonight we are thanking them. Ajahn Brahm will be teaching and other monks are joining us. Please come and join us especially if you have attended the group at any time in the past as a teacher, co-ordinator or meditator.

Navam Poya falls tomorrow
It was a novel experience for the simple villagers in Gastenna, Wewatenna and Kantahela in and around Bandarawela town when they had the rare opportunity to offer alms to a group of Buddhist monks who were coming for ‘heel dana’ – morning alms. Not that they were not used to giving alms. The difference was that the monks were a mixed lot – local and foreign, the latter from different countries. Among them was Ajahn Brahmali – the senior pupil of Ajahn Brahmavamso who had just concluded a seven-day meditation retreat in Bandarawela organised by the Ajahn Brahm Society Sri Lanka.

Yoga classes starting Wed 3 April
As mentioned at the AGM, we have a number of new classes and events that will be running at the Dhammaloka Centre. The first of these events are Hatha Yoga classes, which will be commencing on Wednesday 3 April 2013.
Change in membership fees
At the AGM it was unanimously decided that the following increase in fees to take place with effect from 1st April 2013.
