Facilities are simple but comfortable and warm. Grounds are well set out with paths & open spaces. Suitable for children too.
Includes: cooking facilities, large fridges, cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery, covered BBQ area, mattresses & pillows. Structured activities are offered but you will be free to opt out and just enjoy the forest in your own way.
On offer: Canadian Canoeing, Adventure Course (low rise ropes & flying fox), Bush Walks, Orienteering, Yoga, Wet Weather Program. There is plenty of space for meditation & quiet time. In keeping with our Buddhist precepts, there will be no alcohol.
Cost for the weekend: ADULT (bunk): $125 (bed): $130 CHILD: $65 Accommodation will be allocated on a "first come"basis.
Registrations close on 27 August 5.00pm.
What to bring: Bed linen, sleeping bags/doonas; Winter clothing & weather jacket; Food for breakfasts; Plate of food to share for Saturday lunch; Meat or substitute for BBQ Saturday night.
Provided: Milk, juice, water, tea, coffee etc. Bread, salads for Saturday. Sunday Lunch.
Optional: Yoga mat, meditation cushion/stool. Ball: there are basket ball hoops and space for games.
