Ron and Tere's involvement with the BSWA goes back to the earliest days and the idea was conceived that as a tribute to their many years of active support, this part of the garden could be dedicated to them.
With the approval of Ajahn Brahm and the Committee, a garden has since been professionally designed and planted by Osamu Morozumi. It features what will eventually grow into tall Lilli Pillis and 3 large Magnolia trees surrounding flowering shrubs, with a centrally placed granite bench, providing a haven of quiet reflection for visitors. The flowering trees, when grown, should form an outstanding backdrop to the Buddha Rupa.
Ajahn Brahm has suggested that friends of Ron and Tere may wish to share the merit with them by contributing financially to the garden. They can do this manually or electronically but all donations would need to be identified as for "The Tribute Garden" (i.e. if cash/chq, they will need to write this on a donation envelope, with Paypal it can be written in the comments section, with EFT it can be entered in the reference.
